Every utility publishes an annual water quality report, and almost nobody reads one. We do. The shelves start with the five largest systems in our fifty miles and now run across Indiana, each city itemized by year, each report linked in the original and summarized in plain English under our own letterhead, free to download and keep.

Where can I find water quality reports for Indiana cities?
Right here. Jaxons Group maintains free, plain-English summaries of the official water quality reports for Evansville (EWSU), Owensboro (OMU), Henderson (HWU), Newburgh (Indiana American Water) and Jasper in our own fifty miles, plus Indianapolis, Morgan County, Westfield and South Madison from the Citizens Energy Group family further north. The official documents are linked beside each download, multiple report years are kept for the larger systems, and new editions are added as the utilities publish them.

Source: Ohio River. Four reports, one direction: hardness 132 → 136 → 135 → 138 ppm. No violations in any of them.

Beyond our drive radius, kept because people keep asking. These systems sit well north of our fifty miles, so we document their water rather than service it. The reading is worth your while anyway: the Citizens systems around Indianapolis run two to three times harder than Evansville’s.

Each download is a Jaxons Group summary, not the utility’s official report. Figures are transcribed from the cited documents; where a figure could not be verified against an official source, it does not appear. Water treatment reduces the substances named. It does not eliminate them, and we do not say otherwise.

◇Where can I find the water quality report for my town near Evansville?
Every public water system publishes an annual Consumer Confidence Report. This page collects the recent ones for Evansville, Owensboro, Henderson, Newburgh and Jasper, links each utility's official document, and offers a plain-English Jaxons Group summary of each as a free download, itemized by city and by year.
◇How hard is Indianapolis water?
Hard by any standard. Citizens Energy Group's 2025 water quality data reports hardness averaging 317 ppm, about 19 grains per gallon, with a range that reached 460 ppm, about 27 grains. Westfield and the South Madison system near Pendleton run harder still, averaging 360 and 366 ppm. Our downloadable summaries carry the full tables.
◇Are these the official reports?
No, and they say so on every page. Each download is a Jaxons Group summary prepared from the official report it cites, with the figures transcribed and the original linked. The utility's own document always governs.
◇Why does a water company give these away?
Because a homeowner who has actually read their water report makes a better decision, whichever way it goes. The reports tell you what the system delivers on average. The free Water Test tells you what your own tap delivers, which is the number that matters for equipment.
◇I read my report and something in it concerns me. What now?
Call 555-555-5555 or write to appointments@jaxonsgroup.com and we will read it with you, plainly and without a script. If the concern belongs to the utility, we will say so and point you to them. If it belongs to your own plumbing or your own tap, the free Water Test measures it.
◇My town isn't listed. Can you still help?
