Reserve the Water Test.
Twenty minutes at your own tap. We measure hardness, iron, chlorine and dissolved solids, explain what the numbers mean for your particular house, and leave them with you. If a system from the collection fits, you already know its price from the Ledger. If none does, you will hear that too.

What people ask first.
◇What does the Water Test measure?
Hardness, iron, chlorine and total dissolved solids, read at your own tap rather than estimated from a county average. The reading takes about twenty minutes, and the numbers are written down and left with you.
◇What does it cost?
Nothing. The House absorbs the cost of measuring because everything honest that happens afterward depends on it.
◇Will there be a sales pitch?
There will be a recommendation, if the water asks for one, with its posted price attached. There will not be a performance. If your water does not need treatment, that is the recommendation, and we leave.
◇Do you test well water?
Constantly. A great deal of the fifty miles around Evansville runs on wells, where hardness and iron tend to run higher than city water. The test reads exactly what your well delivers.
